Mozilla Thunderbird 3
Whilst we at Jaropa Tech Ltd still use and recommend the Thunderbird email client, you should be aware that
the latest version, Thunderbird 3, differs in how you set up your email accounts. In fact, it has annoyed many people because
it now tries to detect settings automatically, creating your account for you. Unfortunately, it cannot always 'guess' correctly, and may
set up your email account incorrectly.
It is possible to set up Thunderbird 3 accounts manually, but it is not obvious how and this is where the problem lies.
It is also possible to download the previous version of Thunderbird, (version 2.0.0.23) if you prefer to use it. It's perfectly
suitable in most cases, but won't of course, include the new features (or bugs) of version 3.

The default, and most obviously available option is to download Thunderbird 3, but version 2 is still available
(March 2010) for download. You can find it starting from 'Other Systems and Lanuages' on their front page.
